    Hey Michele,

    Beautiful home!

Here are some recommendations you could consider:

Any of our Classic Path lights would look beautiful along the front pathway/garden bed (marked in blue). Ideal spacing would depend on the hat spread you chose - this determines the diameter of the light spread(s).

For the ground level uplighting, you could use any of our spotlights, in-ground lights, or flood lights. Each of these styles offers uplighting that could look beautiful. In-ground lights would be ideal if you wanted extra low-profile lights to conceal light sources further, but spotlights or flood lights would be easier to install. I personally prefer interchangeable bulb models which is why I'd recommend lamp-ready versions; we also offer versions with built in LEDs. Regardless of the light source style you choose, I'd recommend wider beam spreads for the right and left areas - no less than 60-degree for the right, and likely no wider than 60-degree for the (2) spots on the left. For the area directly to the left of the front door, a narrow beam spread would be ideal; no wider than a 38-degree ideally.

I'd also recommend considering using a frosted lens with any MR16 spotlight you chose, or a floodlight such as the Gentle Splash includes various lens options (including frosted).

I'd recommend applying a grazing lighting effect by placing these ground level fixtures within 12 inches of the wall if possible - this will help highlight the texture of the brick and keep the illumination less focused on the windows and more up the entire wall.

For the second/third story areas, you can use gutter mounts with compact spotlights to acquire some illumination on the second story area - any of our Mini LED Spotlights could look beautiful. I'd likely recommend lower wattage bulb options for less intense illumination on the windows (2W MR11s).

Thanks so much for your expert advice! This helps a lot. This forum has been great as well as your customer service that we called about a transformer question. Front is done and looks great. Now onto the back. Thanks again!
