Hello. Are there any tools to help with designing a lighting layout? Like a grid or other tool to draw out the design? Also, are there worksheets on which to keep records of details regarding each fixture (voltage at the time of installation, length of wire, etc)?

    Thanks!

Fellow lighting enthusiast here. I might be wrong but afaik VOLT doesn’t sell any tools like that. However, at least some (if not all) of their transformers include a wiring chart something like what you’d find in an electrical panel. My system has only 25-30 lights and I planned it with photoshop. Because I have connected only fixtures with similar cable lengths to each of my hubs, I hope any troubleshooting will be pretty much a no-brainer. If you are planning a huge system and you want something more sophisticated than a drawing app grid, their are commercial apps and software for landscape design that should do the trick.
