I see that VOLT offers lights that are either 12V or 120V. Which are better for my home lighting project?

For many reasons, 12V (also known as low voltage) is better.

A 12V current is safe - it cannot cause electrical shock injury. This means that with a little guidance, a determined do-it-yourselfer can safely connect and run wires that carry a low voltage current. And, if your landscaper cuts into a low voltage wire, there's no chance for harmful electrical shocks.

You will also find a greater selection of low voltage lights for your property. They come in all shapes and sizes and are great for creating a variety of impressive lighting effects.

Finally, you can create a much more energy-efficient system with 12V (compared to 120V) - especially when using LEDs.

Go for low voltage and enjoy!
