When changing a light today, the wires shorted together. The GFI breaker worked but after resetting it I can’t get the lights to come on. I’m not getting any voltage out of it. It was a momentary short so I didn’t think the transformer would have been damaged. Any guidance on how to determine if the transformer needs to be replaced?

Is power still coming to the outlet (did a house circuit breaker trip as well, perhaps)? Have you tried plugging the transformer into a different outlet? Is this a Volt transformer? Also what does “changing a light” mean? Changing a bulb? Replacing a fixture? Thanks.
