I was perusing eBay for a cheap backup/side project transformer and when I searched for a Volt 300W VTR-300SL-SS-R1, the search returned listings with a part number NBTR-300SL-SS-R1, without a Volt name on the unit. However, the unit looks nearly identical. A google search does not turn up much. Is there any knowledge around this specific part number? Is it a knock-off, is it legit? The price is right for a backup.
These appear to be the same product VOLT sells but unbranded. And also without the same (if any) warranty terms. One seller offers free shipping and returns but you have to weigh that against what you get in terms or warranty and customer support from VOLT.
