   I was wondering if the photocell and the timer can be used together, such as ,,,lights on with the photocell and off after say 4 hours or whatever I have the timer set to?

   Thanks for the question. Yes, what you describe is the recommended way to use the two control units. The photocell turns the system on at dusk - the timer turns the system off at whatever time you set.
