I just saw the small Spark SpotLight, I may be considering it to shine at a boulder in my flower bed. Would this little light be too small? The boulder is about 4ft wide and about 2ft tall. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Wow. Until I saw your post, I didn't know about this new fixture. Evan will correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like Volt only sells a 2W 38 degree lamp for this fixture. I also noticed that the glare shield appears to be fixed. So, while I can't say for sure that it would suit your needs, I can think of a few products that most likely would. One is the Mini All Star spotlight. Another is the mini Innovator light (essentially a mini all Star on a long stem with a head that can be aimed up or down). A salty dog Beacon (with a side throw glare shield) would probably do the trick as well.

If you were just looking for some subtle accent illumination to gently graze the boulder and highlight the texture, the Spark Spotlight would be an ideal fixture for just that. It is low-profile to help blend in the garden even further in addition to the brass acquiring patina.
