I just received my mr16 salty dog lights with the beacon tops. I am installing the tops on now. I assume that I keep the original lens with the gasket on the fixture and then only replace the standard faceplate with the beacon top one, yes?
Hi, Erik. Please see my photo attached. If I understand, you have the product on the far right and the glare guard that's on top of the fixture on the far left, correct? Unless you intended to have the option to use the fixture as configured on both the far left and the far right, I'm not sure why there would already be a faceplate included. In any event, you're correct. All you're doing is replacing the original faceplate with the beacon glare guard. Everything else should stay the same. HTH
