    Good afternoon,
We have no lighting experience, and we would like to install exterior lighting for the front of our home. We would like lights that shine on our trees, on our home, and along our walkway. Will you please help us?

    Thank you so much.

    Hey there,

It sounds like a combination of uplights (either spotlights or in-ground lights) and path lights are going to be ideal for your project goals.

If you'd like more precise recommendations on fixture location/type, you may need to attach a larger photo, also some different angles of the front yard and front walkway area.

Some rough recommendations from the photo above:

    - Path lights within the garden bed(s) and along the front door walkway (any of our classic styles would complement your house well). Style would come down to your preference largely.
    - For illuminating the front dwarf/fan palm, it'd likely be ideal to place fixtures on extension risers to elevate the light sources above the shrubs if you are not able to easily install fixtures directly around the trunk/base of the tree. Low-profile spotlights (MR11 or MR8) would likely be most ideal for this. We offer both of these styles.

-For the tall palm trees, ideally you'll want to use powerful spotlights with the narrowest beam spreads possible. For an integrated LED option, I'd recommend the G4 Infiniti™ 60 Integrated LED Brass Spotlight with the 17-degree option for a narrow beam spread (we also have a color-changing version RGBW G4 Infiniti™ 60 Integrated LED Brass Spotlight). If you preferred a fixture with a changeable bulb, you could use any MR16 fixture essentially - the most important part would be using a bright bulb with a narrow beam spread (7W LED with a 15-degree beam spread).
