I noticed several custom photos of the Mini Bass Underwater Pond Light (https://www.voltlighting.com/mini-brass-led-underwater-pond-light-set) NOT submerged in water. Per customer service, this reduces the life expectancy which I understand but is anyone using them for long periods of time WITHOUT water?
My understanding is that though there might be unique conditions under which these fixtures will function satisfactorily while either simply near water, partially submerged, or dry, they are intended to be fully submerged. Because I’ve seen questions similar to yours posted here in the past, I think it might be a good idea for VOLT to better highlight circumstances that could potentially void the product’s warranty.
I am not concerned about warranty as it is $75 but more towards those that have used it in a DRY environment.
