how many watts are actually used in LED spotlights?

    I bought the whole set from costco. it says transformer is for 150 watts, didn't say how many watts are actually used for each light (spotlight, e.g. is 20w halogen equivalent, what does it mean, use actually 4w, 5w, 6w?

    Seems like the packaging would tell you that. I presume it doesn't? You can look at Volt's website and ascertain the wattage of each bulb, but for example the M16s seem to range from 2-7W. LED is typically 85% more efficient than halogen so I'd say a 20 watt halogen should be about 3 watts LED. Hope this helps...

    thanks Spencer for the reply, helpful! Just checked on th bulb coming with the spotlight, it indeed indicates on the bulb that is MR16, 5w LED. Question answered!
