I am adding hardscape lighting to my outdoor kitchen area and sitting wall. My biggest concern is being able to replace bulbs / fixtures if anything happens to them once they are installed as the install will be rather permanent, especially under the granite countertop. I was considering the Undercover Hardscape light because it has removable bi-pin lamps, but it would be impossible to remove the fixture itself since the mounting bracket is part of the fixture. On the other hand, the linear brass rotating fixtures would be screwed into a separate mounting plate, but do not have changeable bulbs. Which fixture type would others recommend that have done a similar project?
The faceplates on both the G2 Rotatable/Pivoting Undercover Brass Hardscape Light and the Undercover Hardscape Light can be removed to easily access the interchangeable bulb. You would not need to completely uninstall either of these fixtures to insert/swap the bulbs. I always prefer lamp-ready models myself, so I'd likely recommend the rotatable/pivoting version given that it is lamp-ready and offers extra design flexibility with the rotatable light housing.
