I have a white buildup on my antique bronze lights. Does anyone have a suggestion for the best way to remove the buildup without removing the bronze stain?

    Thank you!

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for your question. The best methods of cleaning depend on the nature of the white stains.

Start with a mild cleaning solution (like dish soap). Using a soft cloth, apply the solution and gently wash away the deposit. If that doesn't work, try a CLR (calcium lime remover) cleaner. Again, be gentle. If that doesn't work, then try applying an oil-based liquid such as WD-40. Some people also have success with RainEx. After cleaning, be sure to wash away any cleaning agents.

Any other suggestions from our forum members?
