Can you connect a hub to a hub?

    if the total wattage is in line with transformer [following 80percent rule), can you connect a hub to a hub? Planning to use 12/2 wire and distance to first hub is 75 ft and 2nd hub off of that 50 ft.

    Hello again JHB,

    Great question. We generally always advise against wiring a hub directly to another hub. Doing this can lead to voltage loss because the hubs are designed to evenly disperse electricity to each of the taps. So, attaching a hub to another hub would create uneven 'pull' and the lights on the second hub would more than likely suffer from worse voltage loss than the fixtures on the first one.
