I was planning on buying several Articulator MR16's but looks like they are no longer offered on the website. Have these been discontinued? is the Salty Dog LED well light the newer light? Will the salty dog hold up to a lawn mower passing over it?
Hey Juan, The Salty Dogs are the newer versions and they are actually IP68 rated (essentially fully-submersible which makes the line more optimal for in-ground lights). None of the fixtures are drive-over rated for automobiles or larger machinery but, the faceplate is made from the same quality of solid brass with a reinforced PVC canister so, it is designed to take the typical wear and tear in the average yard.
