Hello! First-time poster here -- I found this site while searching for a solution to a lighting problem. I recently installed a set of aluminum house numbers which are pretty much invisible at night. As they are mounted directly underneath an alarm bell box, I had the "bright" idea of attaching some kind of light to the bottom of the bell bow to illuminate the numbers. I've attached a picture to help illustrate. Looking at some of the Volt "Hardscape" lights, it appears that might be exactly what I need, however I have some questions: Would one of the 6-inch lights cast a wide enough beam to hit all of the numbers? The total length of the numbers is about 12 inches, and the light assembly would only be about 2-inches above the top of the numbers. Perhaps a 12-inch light strip would be a better idea? I'm also concerned that the Hardscape light might be TOO bright for this application, considering the proximity to the numbers. If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear them. Certainly if you have a better idea, love to hear that as well. Thanks!
