I have multiple transformers for my home due to location as well as wiring convenience. I would like them all to be coordinated with respect to time instead of photocell as well as coordinated with other 120v lighting I have. Currently I am using a smarthome outdoor switch to control the other lighting. If I purchase another of these should there be any issue with just leaving the slimline timer to "On" and switched on and using the 120v wifi switch to control the lighting? My concern has to do with the voltage drain out of the transformer after the 120v is switched off, as over time it may impair the LED lights?

    Hey Maddog,

You can certainly use a timer directly at the outlet. Just leave the inner timer mechanism on any transformer set to "ON" as you mentioned and be sure that the timer which you plan to use is absolutely rated for outdoor use and can handle the load accordingly.
