Is there any options to connect a photocell timer outside to the transformer inside the garage?

Evan, can the "10ft Photocell Extension Kit" also be used with the VAC-Timer3? Wish to install your transformer on an inside wall w/ photocell on the exterior side.

The VAC-timer3 is designed for our Slim Line series of transformers which the photocells are built directly into so, the extension would not work for the timer3. The extensions are designed to be used with our clamp-connect and classic screw style transformers because the Slim Lines are more-so placed outdoors due to having the glass faceplates for the cordless photocell feature and easy visibility of the power light and timer settings. If you were adamant about installing your Slim Line inside of your garage or somewhere else indoors and keeping a dusk/dawn setting, one thing you could consider would be to use a Digital Timer directly on the outlet, plug the transformer into it, then bypass the built-in timer by leaving it set to on. A digital timer can be geographically programmed to the dusk/dawn times of your area; they are pretty easy to program and accurate as well.

IMG_2336.JPG IMG_2337.JPG No problem with lighting interfering with the VAC-timer3 in the Slimline. Exterior mounted and working perfectly. As noted elsewhere, ready to have you guys help with the lanai project. Everyone loves the results!
