My flag is attached to the deck railing at an angle and I want to light it from the distance of about 15'. What light would be best MR11, Fat Boy?

    Hey Eric,

An MR11 with a 4W LED bulb with a 38-degree beam spread would possibly work and provide subtle illumination on the flag but, it is difficult to say for certain without a visual or more information on the scenario. A safer bet would be to chose an MR16 like the Fat Boy you mentioned. For this fixture, I'd recommend a 3W bulb and (if you were trying to focus the light solely on the flag) I would recommend the narrowest beam spread to account for the distance between the light and the target object.
