I am looking to add 3 All Star spotlights to some trees in my yard. They are approximately 6' tall and will fill in over time. I am looking for suggestions of beam angle wattage (3 or 5). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello again Jeff,

I myself prefer to plan for the future. At the rate it appears these trees will grow (extremely wide and fairly tall overtime), my personal preference would be to use either a 5W or 7W MR16 with at least a 60-degree beam spread. If the bases of these trees will grow to be extremely wide, then 110-degree beam angles would certainly be something to consider.
