Hello. I would like to install solar post cap lighting on my deck, but the wood posts that I have are chamfered or beveled. I don’t want to saw off each post to make it flat. When researching, it seems that all the solar post cap lights require screws on the side. Is there a solar post cap lighting that I could install on these posts? I really like the look of the solar post cap lighting. It is 3.5” x 3.5” on the flat part of the top of the post and beveled downward to a 5.5” by 5.5” post.

If you don’t want to saw the posts flat, your options are basically to find an appropriately sized deck post adapter (or have one 3D printed) or fashion your own adapter by securing wood molding or shims to your deck posts.
