I’m planning on investing around $3000 in my initial lighting plan covering 20 path lights and 10 top dog spots along with some accessories. 1st question I have is “what is the difference between PATH1 and the MAX Spread path lights other than price?

Hi, Kerry. If you compare options for both models, the MAX Spread is significantly more customizable. With the PATH1, WYSIWYG. You can choose your bulb wattage (brightness) but that's pretty much it. If you know exactly what your needs are, that might be the better choice for you. If you think you might need different fixture mounting options or the ability to adjust or vary the height of your fixtures or, the MAX Spread is probably your better choice. If you want the ability to create lighting zones, dim your lights, or use color changeable lamps in your fixtures, then you'll want to go with the MAX spread (as it appears that color changeable bulbs are not an option for the PATH1 fixture).
