Hey everyone I'm planning a backyard remodeling project for this year and it includes something know nothing about outdoor lighting . So I was thinking lighting up my fence hoping to put out enough light for a relaxing on the patio while also providing some security.
So my plan is to use either deck lights mounted on top of the fence or the lanai lights on each fence panel.
So what do you guys think ?

I'll try to upload photos later files are to big

I forgot to edit the light placement but I hope yall will get the idea . Downlight fence panel . If you guys look at the patio area we're building a deck in the future so I was thinking of just putting path light near there . Thanks

Both of those ideas sound fine. With the deck lights, I would just recommend you to be mindful of how you plan to use the patio era when you consider the installation height of your deck lights. If people are sitting or lounging around on the deck, you wouldn’t want those installed so high that they were shining in people’s eyes (especially when it’s totally dark outside). If you’re planning to plant shrubs or grass in that area bordering the deck, you could also uplight your shrubbery. That way, you’re illuminating the patio with the light that’s bouncing off of the foliage and you’re reducing potential glare issues. HTH
