I have a 500 foot driveway. Looking to replace current driveway lights with Volt lights. I do not want to have to use a hub as I will be needing hundreds of feet of wire as lights are spaced 80 feet apart. What connectors do recommend I use to tie into 10 gauge wire I already have laid down. Looking to purchase lights you have for sale at Costco. Thank you
You don’t say how many lights total you’d be running or the total wattage load but I think you may be attempting a wire run length in excess of what VOLT recommends (300 feet max)—especially given the modestly powered transformer included in most of the COSTCO kits. IMO, to even attempt to power lights on a five hundred-ft run, you would want a more robust transformer (300W at a minimum) that would address potential voltage drop issues. I strongly recommend you contact VOLT customer service to discuss the scope of your project. HTH
