Step Lighting Recommendation Needed

Has anyone ever used the Undercover Hardscape Light for step lighting instead of the Volt Stair lights? My risers are 4.5 inches.

 

Rennae: I'm not sure which light you are referring to, but I believe the underwater lights require submersion in water for heat dissipation. Bob

 

Hi Bob, I'm referring to these lights https://www.voltlighting.com/undercover-hardscape-light-cast-brass. Wondering about using these on patio steps with 4.5" risers instead of these lights https://www.voltlighting.com/brass-thin-louvered-integrated-led-step-light.
