Is this possible? Or is there to much distance between H1 and H2? Taking H2 back to the transformer would be approximately a 65ft run with the 14ga wire furnished.
EBelew: When Evan was still posting in this forum, he advised against connecting hubs in series. He would have recommended separate main lines to each hub. With that in mind, on page 9 of the downloadable installation guide for the 300W transformer is an equation for calculating voltage drop. My quick calculation for a 65 foot run with 14 gauge cable suggests a modest 1.1 voltage drop to the hub, with an additional drop for each fixtures cable length and gauge. So long as you stay above something around 10 volts at each fixture, a 65 foot run should work fine. If your 100 watt Slim Line transformer has only 15 volt outputs, staying above 10 is not an issue.
