Suddenly after my lights working for 7+ years the low voltage fixtures closest to my transformer are not coming on, but the ones furthest away are. I changed the transformer thinking that was the problem, but it didn't fix it. The wire can't be bad because the lights furthest away are coming on. Totally bewildered on this. Any help would be great.

I'd check the voltage at the fixture to make sure that you have voltage there. Sounds like a blown bulb though.
