Choosing wattage for hardscape downlighting

    I'm purchasing hardscape downlighting but not sure which LED bulb to select. This is a 26" wall around pool deck. Any recommendations? Options range from 1W to 4W I believe.

    I used Undercover Hardscape Lights with 3w bulbs for a wall similar in height to yours. 2700K. Spaced 4' apart. (Sorry, my photo was too large to upload...)

    In general, I've found that choosing one of the wattages in the middle of what's offered is safe, unless you know you want to go extra bright or extra subtle. 4w might be worth considering if using a pivoting hardscape light and you're trying to cast light over greater distances outwards. I think 2w would be sufficient if you have closer spacing (<4' apart) or want something more subtle. Else, try 3w. Good luck!
