I'm working through the process of laying out and selecting fixtures for my landscape lighting project. Attached are a few options I'm considering, but I need a little technical input to make the final decision. Any advice would be appreciated. Of particular interest is lighting the gables appropriately and evenly without any hot spots. I've listed my thoughts on the fixture and bulb specs, but really need some help there. Please note, the image is a little dated and the landscaping is now complete and much more mature. Thanks.
Option (2) looks well-balanced with ideal fixture placement IMO. Maybe consider 38-degree spreads for the Top-Dogs on the corners for the right side; it could potentially help keep more illumination off the windows. The only thing I'd maybe recommend would be to consider using one fixture for the gable above the front door. Given the cutoff on the right side and where you'd have to place 2 fixtures, it could look unbalanced. Placing 1 fixture centered with the vent/above the front door would help maintain the symmetry. If you were worried that 1 mini All-Star would not offer enough balanced coverage, you could consider a floodlight. We have lower profile flood light options with subtle/lower levels of illumination available depending on bulb type - Cast Brass Round Wall Wash or the Gentle Splash Cast Brass Flood Light & Wall Wash. Both offer frosted lens options to help diffuse the light output and ensure the illumination is well balanced over the target area. Either of them could be attached to the gutter mount as well
