What is silicon lubricant included in the package used for? There is no reference in the instructions.

Hi, stelli. If you mean this: https://www.voltlighting.com/outdoor-landscape-lighting-grease/p/VAC-GREASE1 it's for wire corrosion prevention and for lubricating the threaded parts on fixtures. For example, since it's hoped that you won't be replacing bulbs frequently, lubricating the threads where the bulb cover attaches to the fixture will make it less likely that the cover will get stuck (when you eventually have to replace a bulb).
