So I got 8 G4s installed and was testing them out but not sure if I have to move them around or add more. I have one on each tree (4). I then have one to the left and the right of the entrance. And then one to the left and right of the garage Currently they all still have their 60° lens on but I have 38s to swap. Also not photoed our our pathway lights which I installed but I don't need help with those. Any help would be great.
This is not exactly in my wheelhouse but it seems to me that experimenting with the narrower beam spread lamps is a good idea. Are you going for bands of light or pools of light? Are you also looking at the light output/effects created by each fixture by itself (to get a clearer idea of what the final plan will look like)?
The trees are the way I want them so that's fine. It's the house that I am having a little trouble with. I put the lights where I think they should go to at least illuminate some of the areas. Some of the areas as you can see about mid way up jut out a little where the brick or Stone then transitions to the stucco. I then have that second floor window that's set back. If I was starting from scratch where would you put lights on the house and at what beam? I can again always move them around or add more if I need to the second floor. Do you think it looks okay so far? Here are two photos of when my year-round lights are on in warm White. It's not as bright in the second photo as it looks and more subtle like the first.
