I have a 150amp box, that feeds a line out to a HUB . I checked the power line into HUB and it has power going in but none of the lights are working (so I guess no power coming out. How do I troubleshoot and what could be the cause? what do I need to look for? I put everything in about 3yrs ago

    Some possibilities:

A.) Faulty terminal connections at 1 (transformer) or 3 (hub) or faulty connection at 5 (splice point).
B.) Wire severed at 2 (main wire to hub) or 4 (lead wire between hub and fixture)

Thank you for the Trouble shoot map.
    A. Did not check faulty terminal Connection since I Took that Main wire (2) out of hub and it had power.
(but if there is a faulty wire / connection with 4 would that make all the lights not work? because none of them are working)
    B. My second move was to move 2 to a different location in the hub 3

It wasn’t clear to me how your lights are wired. If the light at 5 is the first link in a chain of lights extending from the hub and it’s the only run in your system, then that might explain why all of the lights aren’t working. If you have multiple light runs connect to the hub and those are out too, then something else is going on.

It would be helpful if you could describe your lighting set up in more detail. How many lights are we talking, for instance? Did something remarkable happen recently that could explain why the bulbs would go out? Are these VOLT products? Have you confirmed that the bulbs in all the fixtures are still good? Just trying to make educated guesses.

I don't know of anything remarkable that has happened recently that could have caused something..
    All components are volt products
I have not checked all the bulbs but will do

I just disconnected the main line (2) from the HUB (3) and directly connected it to a chain of a two lights, and the lights worked. So do I need to replace the HUB..At least that is the way I am leaning.

If you have a Pro Junction hub, the only other thing I can think to recommend is examining the metal contacts at each terminal to determine if there is any corrosion or other obvious damage that would interfere with conductivity. Since I can’t think of any other reason all the lights would fail at once, I would start by examining the terminals at the original location where the main wire was inserted and then look at the two contacts at the second pair of terminals you tried. I’ve never had a hub fail, so if that is the case, I can only guess that somehow excessive moisture got inside the hub? Just a shot in the dark. Next step? Contact the pros at customer service. You can call them or you could also try asking a question using the question tab under the product’s listing. HTH
