My landscaper installed several lights about a year ago and now some of the pathway lights are suddenly dim. I've check the voltage from the first to the last and I get roughly 12 at the first and then around 6.5 at the last one. When they were first installed all was good. One of the lights was knocked over by some animal and broke part of the plastic base. I wonder if this caused some issue. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Have you examined the electrical connection between the first fixture that appears to be dimmer and the preceding preceding one in the chain? If that first dimmer fixture is the one that was damaged, it sounds like that could be your answer.
