After you take off the cover it will not go back on with the gasket in place. It is too big and very flimsy and will not seal but protrudes out the bottom of the cover. This is not acceptable. What can we do?

Is this a new fixture or one that you've had for a while? Regardless, it's probably a good idea to contact customer support to find out what they recommend. I could be wrong but they may be able to provide you with a replacement gasket (or at least recommend one). Alternatively, I suspect they might advise you to use a dab of silicone lubricant on the ring so that the glare guard slides onto the body of the fixture more easily. But you definitely want to check with customer service before you do anything that could void your warranty.

Without seeing it in person, it's difficult to say why the gasket is not fitting snug. Typically, it would be due to overtightening threads but the G2 Fatboy has the twist-and-lock design. It sounds like the gasket may have warped or been stretched in some manner but, like @Mesodude2 said, we would be happy to ship out a replacement gasket for you if needed. if you haven't already, just give our customer support a call at 813-978-3700 and we can quickly get you taken care of!
