I want 1 light on either side of window. Should I use a wall wash or spotlight? What beam spread?

    Hi Jim,

Before I looked at the photo, I thought the use of a 60º spotlight would be ideal. But when I see how wide the wall space is on either side of the windows - and the fact that the large bushes cover most of the wall, I'm thinking a wider beam angle would create the most compelling effect. I would still use either an Infiniti integrated 60º spot or an All-Star spot with 60º lamp - BUT, I would add a Multi-Beam Diffusion Filter to each spot - these are excellent inexpensive high-tech filters that provide an assortment of wider beam angles so you can experiment until you get the effect you want.

I would center the light in the blank space on both sides of the windows and make sure the light illuminates the peaked eaves above the windows.

Please send pics when you're done!

    Thanks,

Now that I see what you're trying to do, I agree with Steve
