Hi, I am getting ready to install some landscape lights on the front of our home and am looking for some ideas on where to place lights given the shape and features of the home and landscape. I have included some pics of the home. Thanks in advance.

Hi. The most straightforward approach I can think of would be to uplight all of the brick-capped stonework. From what I can see based on your shrubbery, you'd have to place your fixtures pretty much flush with the walls. Alternatively, you could indirectly illuminate the facade of your house by uplighting the shrubs in front of all of the stonework. In the second approach, you can create some interesting shadow effects against the front of the house. Yet a third approach would be to take advantage of the deep soffits on your house and light the aforementioned sections of the house from above, using puck lights. Also, you have beautiful garage doors. You could illuminate those from above with puck lights as well.
